I-Pick-up
Automatic greenhouse placement and pick-upSystem for the placement and pick-up of cases and cell-like containers in polystyrene or thermo-mould. i-pick-up, in its complete version, is completely automatic (no operator needed on board) in storing and picking up, palletizing and depalletizing, moving from one greenhouse unit to the other.
Features i-pick-up i-pick-up is made up of two basic machines:
- A bridge cart autonomously supplied by a generator, which is mounted on it, and a roller-cart. The first moves inside the greenhouse unit to pick up or place the containers.
- The second carries out a double function: it works as a collector for the cell-like containers feeding the bridge cart or evacuating the picked up containers and, in addition, allows the bridge cart to move from one greenhouse unit to the other.
The accessories, then, allows for an increased automation of the process and can be added to the plant also afterwards. The plant can work in 3 operating modes: manual, automatic and integrated automatic. In the manual mode, the operator is on the bridge cart and has to decide where to place or pick up the containers. In the automatic modes, there is no operator on the cart and the working program is set by means of a computer directly on the machine (automatic system) or by means of a managing system for the storage loading and unloading (integrated automatic).
FittingsDESTACKER/STACKER FOR CASES AND CONTAINERS IN POLYSTIRENE AND THERMO-MOULDA stacker - destacker can be connected to the roller-cart to manage the piles of cases both with handle and cell-like containers.
PALLETIZER AND DEPALLETIZER FOR CASES AND CONTAINERSThis machine, which is equipped with a rotating table for depalletization, composition and fastening of pallets before shipping, is ideal for those nurseries that use pallets to move their containers.
STACKER DESTACKER FOR EURO-PALLETIt allows for the stacking and subsequent destacking of pallets.
SoftwareEach machine, which is part of the i-pick-up system, is equipped with a computer that can interact with the other machines of the plant. A powerful supervision software coordinates the work of different machines and, in its most developed version, interfaces with the storage loading and unloading software, allowing for both the greenhouse placement and the following pick-up in completely automatic mode. The bridge cart moves from one greenhouse unit to the other by getting on the roller-cart and giving it the proper instructions. The accessory machines, on their turn, move autonomously from one greenhouse unit to the other following the instructions given by the roller-cart.
