"Trimming Around the Pot"
Alias our "Phlox Trimmer". This system has been developed for a grower who wanted to trim his Phlox neatly around the edges of the pot. The system uses a hedge trimmer for trimming the top of the plant, and then a gripper comes in from the top and turns the pot in the next station, where two counter-rotating knifes trim all the branches outside of the pot.
The capacity of the system lies around 1.200 - 1.400 pots/hour. 
The system can easily be modified for the trimming of other varieties.
Please note that the system will only work well with medium to larger sized pots. If you want to trim small plants around the pot, you can use our RAP 1000 system!
